The Barclay Bar at the InterContinental New York Barclay is now featuring an extensive variety of over 30 types of the apple brandy. These Big Apple offerings include a "tasting flight? of 1oz samples of four types of Calvados for $24, and Calvados and apple juice cocktails starting at $12, featuring fresh-pressed apple juice from New York apples.The twice-distilled aged brandy from Normandy is one of the world's finest spirits. The brandy's complexity comes from blending over two dozen varieties of small, aromatic apples, careful distilling from dry cider aged in French Oak barrels, then blended and bottled for the connoisseur.

Decades Cocktail Hour. Shake it up like its 1929, 1969 or 1989… The Barclay Bar, puts a retro twist on its weeknight cocktail culture with Decades Cocktail Hour. Starting March 28, from 5:00 p.m. through 8:00 p.m., the Bar celebrates a different era each week night with music, moving images and $8 featured cocktails as follows:
- Mondays, 1920s Sidecar and 1930s: French 75
- Tuesdays, 1940s Bellini and 1950s: Harvey Wallbanger
- Wednesdays,1960s: Vodka Martini
- Thursdays, 1970s: Caiparinha
- Fridays, 1980s Tequila Sunrise and 1990's: Cosmopolitan
Five original video projections will be displayed nightly serving as kinetic portraits of each decade. Each decade features a custom playlist, filled with classic musical gems that revive the spirit of the times
